In the year 2020, NASCAR announced it had banned paint schemes that directly promote political ideologies, candidates, or parties after disagreements surrounding numerous paint schemes.

Since forbidding political paint schemes, no NASCAR teams have fielded cars with direct political messages.

Truck Series driver Tim Viens is set to run a truck paint scheme with ‘TRUMP Winery’ branding at Talladega Superspeedway.

Viens owns Glory to God Racing, the team fields the No. 46 and No. 47 Rides in the NASCAR Truck Series.

However, with the National elections just a few months away, Tim Viens found a loop hole in the ban allowing him to run the “TRUMP Winery” paint scheme.

“My name is Tim Viens, I am a staunch Trump supporter,” Tim Viens via Twitter.

“I drove the TRUMP 2020 Truck in the NASCAR Truck Series before NASCAR banned political advertising.

I will be back with a new sponsor this year. Talladega, I think you will like it!”

“Follow my journey God Bless.”

This will not be the first stint Veins drives a car with the Trump label. He did it back in 2020 before the ban from Nascar.

Tim Viens has been an articulated supporter of former president Donald Trump and has often expressed his backing for the Republican Party leader.
