Having been on the receiving end of boos for unfair reasons many times in his career, Wallace is really affected to hear them at this point. Addressing the situation, he said:

“It’s every week. It’s sports, it’s always going to be there. You’re really close to the stage, it does make a difference, it’s gonna be there every weekend.”

Wallace also added a piece of advice that such practice should not let you feel down.

“As long as you continue to live your life judging a book by its cover, that’s who you are,” he said. “Don’t change it up for anybody else. That’s the biggest thing. That’s fine.

“I mean, I finished fifth, I got a good payday. I’m good.”

Driving the No. 1 Toyota Tundra TRD, he finished fifth in the race. As for the Cup Series, the 23XI Racing’s driver has been building up form, having finished in the top 12 in five of the last six races.
