Tyler Reddick had signed an agreement in 2022 to join 23XI Racing in 2024 however, he was allowed to leave a year early with Busch taking his No. 8 ride at RCR.
Reddick will pilot the No. 45 Toyota car, where he will team up with Bubba Wallace who himself spent most of last season learning under the advice of Kurt and his vast experience,.
Wallace now becomes the senior driver of the team, both young drivers will challenge each other, in an adequate way.

23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin thinks highly of Reddick and claims that the No.45 driver can produce similar or better performance than Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson.
Earlier this week Denny Hamlin joined up with the NASCAR RaceHub to discuss a variety of team significance.
“I’m on the racetrack enough to see Tyler, and I’m like, wow, he has some special stuff. If he just manages it a little bit better, I think he could win it as much or more than Kyle Larson in any given year.
“When Kyle Larson is like, that’s the guy you know you need to go get, you probably should go get him,” Hamlin told NASCAR Race Hub.
Kyle Larson dominated the 2021 Cup Series season achieving 10 victories on his way to winning the championship.
Co-owner Denny Hamlin expects both 23XI Racing drivers to make it to the playoffs this season.
“I mean, certainly we expect him to make the playoffs,” Hamlin said. “You know, Bubba did such a great job. I mean, he finished top 10 in points for us racing in the playoffs.
Not many people know that that 45 car with Bubba driving it finished 10th in points last year in that playoff run so he did a great job.
“I believe that you know finishing in the top 10 once again in points will still be a jump for Tyler” he added.
