Bubba Wallace had a very good performance in the NASCAR’s Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Sunday until his clash with Austin Dillon.
While the result might suggest otherwise, Wallace had a very good run and was battling with Dillon for second place with just seven laps to go. However, the clash pushed Wallace into the rear and what could have been a good start to the 2023 season turned out to be disappointing.
After the race, he aimed dig at Dillion and said that he got dumped the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing’s driver.
“The 3 just never tried to make the corner, he was always running into my left-rear,” said Wallace about his duel with Dillon. “It is what it is, I got run into the fence by him on the straightaway on a restart, so I gave him a shot.”
“And then we get dumped, so… it sucks.”

In his defence, Dillon said that he was doing the same as the 23XI Racing’s No. 23 driver.
“I hate it for Bubba, he had a good car and a good run,” said Dillon. “But you can’t tell who’s either pushing him or getting pushed.
“I just know he sent me through the corner and I saved it three times through there, released the brake and all kinds of stuff, and then when I got down, I was going to give the same.
“Probably was a little too hard.”

Wallace finished 22nd in the race while Dillon kept his second position finishing behind the winner Martin Truex Jr.
Nonetheless, there is nothing to lose at the race. Now, Wallace will be switching his attention to doing one better than the last season at Daytona 500, where he finished second.
He should jump out and kick Austin azz, like he did Larson…..
