Denny Hamlin agreed to a multi-year contract extension with Joe Gibbs Racing and FedEx just before the beginning of the 2021 Cup Series season.

It was revealed late last year (November) that both extensions are set to expire following the 2023 season.

Hamlin eased concerns after fans of the No. 11 was a little worried when rumors surface that he facing a similar situation to that of the then JGR driver Kyle Busch.

The 42-y-o said he’s confident he will sign an extension with Joe Gibbs Racing beyond 2024.

“I’m confident that you know as long as I’m racing I want to be with JGR and they want to be with me, certainly I think that these these are going to be ongoing uh for a few months. said Hamlin

When asked by reporters if he is encountering an identical problem as Kyle Busch, Hamlin without any hesitation replied No!.

“No I don’t think that myself and Joe Gibbs  racing will have any any problems getting a deal done by any means.”

“I think that there’s just some outside factors that we have to be sensitive to that I want to make sure get done as well he added.”

This week, Dirty Mo Media announced that Denny Hamlin will host a new podcast for the company called “Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin.”
