The NASCAR Cup Series will return to Los Angeles for the Busch Light Clash at the Colosseum on Feb. 5.
It was confirmed by NASCAR that American rapper Wiz Khalifa will be the halftime show performer as NASCAR kicks off its 75th anniversary.
Wiz Khalifa said in a press release, “The NASCAR cars will bring the noise, and I’ll bring the party. We’re going to have a great time celebrating together at the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum, and I can’t wait to see everybody there.”
Kevin Harvick is expected to join the FOX Sports booth for the 2024 season
Defending Cup champion Joey Logano won the inaugural LA Clash, which took place last year.
Some NASCAR fans weren’t happy with the decision as Khalifa’s Rap music is not something the traditional fans base of NASCAR might enjoy or want to hear.
Others were pleased with NASCAR’s announcement making changes appealing to the new and younger fans.
