With all the regular excitement, there will be more to it for the next season, as IndyCar legend Castroneves will be featuring in the next season’s edition of the event, as reported by Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern. He tweeted:
“@H3lio Castroneves is getting closer to a deal to race in the 2023 Daytona 500 plus several SRX races, per @HawkSMI
“Teams said to have been in the running for Daytona are @TeamTrackhouse and @TMTRacing50”.

As per Stern, the two teams in contention to run Castroneves are Trackhouse Racing and The Money Team Racing.
It is no surprise that Trackhouse Racing might be trying to run Castroneves as Justin Marks’s mother previously inquired his son regarding Castroneves running the Daytona 500.
And Castroneves was also promised that he would be helped to run the prestigious NASCAR race if he won one of the races in the Superstar Racing Experience series, which he did.
