The making of the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano began a long time ago.
Logano began racing when he was just six as a quarter midget racer in Connecticut in 1996. The next year he won his first Eastern Grand National Championship in the Jr. Stock Car Division.
Among the many accolades that Logano received in his early years was becoming the National Bandoleros Bandits champion.
Recently NASCAR on NBC posted a video from 22 years ago. Not surprisingly, Logano already showed the characteristics that he has today.
“He is already wearing everybody out” – Teammate Austin Dillon on Kyle Busch at RCR
Towards the end of the video, Logano’s car gets hit by another car from behind. And it seems a bad wreck for a ten-year-old. However, he gets back to racing the next day. And he says this:
“I guess I have no fear, I don’t know!
22 years ago, @JoeyLogano spoke with @NBCNightlyNews on his love for Bandolero racing.

After years of racing and hard work, Joey Logano is now considered one of the best drivers in NASCAR’s top tier. Including the two championships, Logano has 31 Cup wins. And he is only 32 years old.
Fans were quick to react to the video, from drawing similarities between his personal traits and racing skills back then and now.

I just watched this on Facebook. $75,000 🤯 twenty-two year's ago?? The investment definitely paid off for the Logano's. 😉

As one fan notes, his father’s investment in Logano as a kid has certainly paid off.
