Hailie Deegan will be making her NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Las Vegas Motor Speedway later this month.
The 21-year-old driver, who is currently in her second season as a full-time driver in the Truck Series, will be making her debut on October 15. The comes at the back of her career-high sixth finish in last weekend’s race at Talladega Superspeedway.
“I really just wanted to make my debut, for sure, on a mile-and-a-half because that’s where I feel the most comfortable,” said Deegan. “I wanted to get my feet wet in the Xfinity Series.
“I don’t know yet what I’m going to be doing next year. I wish I knew and had it figured out already, but we’re still working through a few things. No news on that yet, but at least for the time being, we’re going for our first Xfinity race in Las Vegas. I could not be more excited.”

In the 44 career starts, Deegan has three top-ten finishes and she currently sits in the championship standings. Speaking about her previous records, she has three victories in the ARCA West Series and she finished third in the 2020 ARCA Menards Series championship standings.
She will be driving the No. 07 SS Green Light Racing Ford Mustang in the aforementioned Xfinity race.
