Kyle Busch is set to end a 15-year run with Joe Gibbs Racing as he’s expected to join Richard Childress Racing next season according to The Athletic.

When Busch join RCR next season, it is unclear whether that would be to start a third car or to buy out Tyler Reddick, the driver of the team’s No. 8 who recently announced that he would leave the team after the 2023 season.

The 37-year-old is in the final year of his current contract with JGR and has yet to sign an extension with the Toyota organization.

  1. Why start up a third team when Reddick will be leaving after next year? Put Reddick ina put together team or an affiliated team.Reddick set up this scenario let him live with his decision.

  2. I think Kyle Busch is a great driver who has a desire to win and for the fan’s that hates him then your driver needs to have the same desire that Kyle has because Kyle makes it fun for fan’s that watch Nascar. Now if Joe gibb racing really wants to keep Kyle in the number 18 car then Joe gibb himself should step in and get it done…
