Kyle Larson won the NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen with a late teammate drama.
Hendrick Motorsports teammates, which ran first and second at the time, got caught up in turn 1 at Watkins Glen.
Kyle Larson locked up the brakes on his No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro, which sent him into Chase Elliott’s No. 9 car.

Larson was able to grabbed the lead from Elliott, his HMS teammate, by forcing Elliott to the outside on a restart with five laps remaining to take home the victory on Sunday.
Chase Elliott approached Hendrick Motorsports President Rick Hendrick and Vice Chairman Jeff after terrace and he didn’t appear to be a happy man at the moment.
Instantly after the race, Chase Elliott did not criticize Larson’s move.
“Congratulations,” Elliott said. “He did a great job. Seriously, they deserve it.”
Kyle Larson declare he isn’t proud of the move he made to pass Elliott, however it was his only shot to win the race.
“I felt like I did what I had to do to benefit our playoffs and benefit our points a little bit.” – Larson added.
The final race of the regular season is scheduled Saturday, Aug. 27, at Daytona International Speedway (NBC, 7 p.m. ET).
