Fox NASCAR reporter Bob Pockrass shared a clip on Twitter saying Hamlin doesn’t view Kimi Raikkonen as a possible race-winning contender or someone who will alter the dynamic of the race.
“As far as being a contender to race for the win, I don’t think that’s a possibility,” Denny Hamlin said.”
Denny Hamlin immediately took a swipe at Bob Pockrass for sharing his response without the context of the question.
“Question: How do you see Kimi changing the dynamic of the race at the Glen? (Just so everyone knows the context) Hamlin Tweeted.

Hamlin responded because Bob Pockrass left out questioned asked to get his narrative.
“As a company we have worked hard to get Kimi ready,” said Trackhouse Racing co-owner Justin Marks. “He has adapted very quickly so far. I know he will be quick. Our job is to help Kimi learn the rules specific to NASCAR to make sure that doesn’t bite us. But everyone knows how much talent he has, and it’s shown on the simulator and at the test.”
Coverage for Go Bowling at The Glen begins on Sunday starts at (3 p.m. ET, on USA Network, NBC Sports App, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
