Kyle Busch admitted last week that he has begun talks with other teams regarding 2023 in case a deal isn’t agreed at Joe Gibbs Racing.
Busch’s future at JGR was in doubt following M&M Mars announcement that they won’t be sponsoring the No.18 car after the end of this current season.
Rumors have been circulating around about Kyle Busch to Richard Childress Racing however, Fox Sports reporter Bob Pockrass dismissed such allegations.

Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota are reportedly working on “contingency plans”, despite Busch‘s doubtful future. In a recent interview with Toyota Racing Development’s President, David Wilson announced their plans to NBC Sports.
“We have to have contingency plans,” Wilson said. “Rest assured, we’re thinking about every way this can go.”

“If there’s not sponsorship there, maybe we can create a bridge somewhere,”.
“I wish I could handicap it for you … but I just can’t. We’re in a bad place right now … we’ve got some tremendously heavy lifting in front of us.”
The 37-y-o Busch has 222victories across NASCAR’s three national series and is the only active Cup driver with multiple championships wins. Joe Gibbs Racing also has yet to announce a sponsor for the No. 18 car for next season.
