Truex Jr. who turns 42 later this month, confirmed on Friday that he will be returning to Joe Gibbs Racing next season.
Last month he open up that he thinks daily about whether he will race next year. Revealing then that we should have an answer within a couple of weeks.
Martin Truex Jr. said he never for a second had the retirement conversation until this year and it was nice to just have that process and that he concluded that he wanted to be here and do this.

Truex Jr. has competed for JGR since 2019, earning 12 of his 31 career wins for the storied organization.
