Dale Earnhardt Jr. shed light on the poor race Broadcasting from FOX at Sonoma

NASCAR fans and even former drivers were left disappointed with the broadcasting from FOX Sport on Sunday at Sonoma Raceway for yet another race weekend.

For large portion of the season the NASCAR community was on a regular calling out FOX for their poor broadcasting , this past weekend it was Dale Earnhardt Jr to the list of those critics of Fox Sport

The race at Sonoma earned a 2.0 final rating and 3.2 million viewers on Fox Sports 1 Sunday afternoon, down 17% in TV ratings and viewership from last season(2.4, 3.9M) and down 13% in both measures from 2015 (2.3, 3.7M).

Dale Jr. tweeted during the race on Sunday that sums up the problem FOX has been facing all season.

Did someone get spun in turn 11 a couple laps ago. Thought I saw it on the overhead cam.: Dale Jr.

Motorsport reporter Jeff Gluck also posted a tweet on his Twitter that resembled the problem that Dale Jr. was having.

“Cameras cut away from a car spinning in Turn 11 and I couldn’t tell who it was, but think it might have been Cole Custer,” Jeff tweeted.

Earnhardt Jr expressed his concern on a recent episode of Dale Jr Download about the Xfinity Series, and it being on the verge of losing its identity.
