Former NASCAR driver Jamie McMurray has been a regular in-studio analyst for Fox’s NASCAR coverage for over several years now.

Jamie McMurray joined Clint Bowyer and Mike Joy in the Fox booth for the Cup Series AdventHealth 400 on Sunday.

After his showing in the Fox booth Denny Hamlin was impressed with McMurray even suggesting Fox to hire him for the rest of the current season and 2023 full time.

“I still blame him” – Kyle Busch still “pissed off” about William Byron’s action from the past

Many fans agreed with Hamlin saying McMurray should replace Clint Bowyer as he’s better suited for the job.

“Dear @NASCARONFOX,

Hire @jamiemcmurray to be in the booth for the rest of the year and 2023 also.

The mix of his knowledge of the sport and his analysis of what’s going on on the track is exactly what we need.

Thank you.” – Hamlin shared

The 45-y-o showed he was competent enough to giving insightful info and holding his own with fellow former driver Clint Bowyer, including one moment when he delivered a brutal comment that abruptly silenced Bowyer.

“I was more curious how many times you had to win it to win the million bucks that I did in 2014?” McMurray asked.

Jamie McMurray is a well-liked figure and widely respected individual within the NASCAR community.
