Team Penske driver Joey Logano was unsurprisingly despondent following an early end to his day at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday.

It all started with Martin Truex Jr. In the second stage attempting to connect the outside lane on the restart by dragging the brake, creating a pile up between the cars behind, resulting in Last season winner at Dega Bubba Wallace turning Joey Logano.

Logano spun up the track and into the outside wall, before coming down the track and collecting multiple cars in the middle of the pack.

Kyle Busch reveals he’s not guaranteed another season at Joe Gibbs Racing

i mean it definitely is a it’s a bummer that’s probably the understatement of the year but um it’s just it’s superspeedway racing it happens every time we come to one of these things cars crash and they’re going to crash a lot more before the end of this thing.

The driver of No.22 Team Penske ride voice his opinion saying drivers don’t enjoy Superspeedway racing.

hopefully everyone’s okay and gets out all right that’s something that’s how it works when you come to these things they’re just they throw i mean they suck  I hate to tell you but i i don’t think drivers enjoy it the fans enjoy it so that’s good but i don’t think there’s many drivers that look forward to it. – Said Logano

Right now but um you know just out there trying to to move forward trying to you know get the the lanes moving when you can and do what you can but you know we just kind of get shuffled out on that on that restart there when there’s four cars bumper to bumper to bumper to bumper and uh something had to get spit out and i was the one that got spit out high hopes.

I know devastated are you okay yeah i’m okay i’m all right still getting used to hits in the next gen especially you know big ones
obviously yours a little lower speed but how you felt it was a good hit it’s a it’s a pretty good hit i know it’s a not a bunch of speed and it felt pretty solid so um i’m all right just i mean it’s you end up it’s not just one hit there i think i hit three or four times the whole field came by uh you know when you wreck in the front you got plenty others to hit you along the way. – he added

The wreck caused an early end to the afternoon for several drivers including Daniel Suarez, Joey Logano, Ty Dillon, and Harrison Burton, however all others involved were able to continue on racing.
