NASCAR will head to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend for the annual GEICO 500, the second superspeedway scheduled Cup Series race of 2022.
The major talking points leading up to the race is 23X1 Racing team driver Bubba Wallace with all the attention on him as the defending champion at Talladega.
Brandon Brown came in defense of Bubba Wallace this week after social media criticisms towards the 23XI driver for his win at Talladega last year.
“No need to bring hate to anyones win, no matter who it is. Bubba Wallace works his a** off and deserves this win and the next ones to come”: Said Brown
I will@StrokerAce90 a win is a win, no matter if it’s rain, darkness (like mine) or any other safety hazard that calls the race per NASCAR

Journalists Bob Pockrass also called out the individual Tweeting that Brandon Brown won a race that was cut short due to darkness.
“Who wants to tell this guy that Brandon Brown won in a race that was cut short because of darkness after a wreck brought out the caution? (I’m not being critical of either win, just stating facts).”
