The fight between Ty Gibbs and Sam Mayer was not the only brawl in the NASCAR world this weekend.
The Friday night Xfinity race was a big talking point in the NASCAR community as Gibbs and Mayer as the two drivers confronted each other, leaving Mayer with a cut on his forehead and officials had to break out of the fight.
However, at a race at the Hickory Speedway in North Carolina during the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, another brawl broke out that had a bigger official intervention. One of the driver intentionally took out another driver as a retaliation to an earlier event.

“Racing went to sh*t when they got rid of the ride height rules” – Chad Knaus blatantly called out NASCAR while in the booth at Martinsville
After that, he came out of his car to confront the other driver who was still in his car. But even after the officials tried to calm the driver down, he kept on and shoved the sheriff. He was so untrollable that the sheriff had to cuff him.
What the heck? I need more context

NASCAR fans were quick to draw similarities between this incident to that of the one between Gibbs and Mayer and there were a lot of jokes shared on it.

That guy was given plenty of opportunities to not get cuffed.
