Clint Bowyer ironically mocks Hendrick Motorsport drivers

Clint Bowyer has been commentating NASCAR in the Fox broadcasting booth for his second consecutive season.

Bowyer is alongside Mike Joy in the booth with a rotation between former drivers, including Tony Stewart who was covering the season opener at Daytona, Matt Kenseth and Danica Patrick more recent addition.

Earlier this week Clint Bowyer appeared on NASCAR Race Hub to discuss the success of Hendrick Motorsports early into the 2022 Cup Series season the 42-y-o also had a dig and questioned the toughness of the drivers within the HMS camp.

Hendrick Motorsports VP of competition Chad Knaus joined Clint Bowyer and Adam Alexander for NASCAR Race Hub this week. Chad Knaus joked that William Byron is leading a self-defense class in the HMS team which consists of Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman.

Bowyer sarcastically ridicule the toughness of Hendrick drivers

“You might need one with that group,” Bowyer said, referring to the need of a self-defense expert. “They’re good at a lot of things, but I wouldn’t think that cage match would be one of those things with your bunch.”
