Spire Motorsports driver Corey LaJoie went into the race at Phoenix with high hopes, as his No. 7 car pushed him to a decent top-15 finishes in two of the opening three races of the 2022 NASCARCup Series season.
LaJoie was not able to add another top-15 finish to his tally in Sunday’s Ruoff Mortgage 500 when his day came to an end on lap 46, after his right front tire flew off his car heading into turn one.

On Tuesday Fox Sports journalist Bob Pockrass revealed NASCAR has issued Four-race suspensions to Corey LaJoie crew chief Ryan Sparks and two of his crew members for the wheel that came off at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday.
