NASCAR ARCA team David Gilliland Racing hauler was involved in accident with at least one fatality confirmed along I-20.
According to reports, officials said that the crash took place near mile marker 595 in the area of Estes Parkway early Tuesday morning. Reports claim there was a crash involving a semi-truck hauling cargo of NASCAR team David Gilliland Racing.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. It’s unconfirmed how many people were involved in the crash. police only describe it as fatal, though some individuals involved were reportedly taken to an near by hospital investigations are still ongoing at the moment.

FOX Sports NASCAR Journalist conformed via Twitter that DGR hauler driver Steven Stotts was pronounced dead at the scene following the horrific accident near Longview. the Passengers John Zaverl and Michael Mizzelle are currently in stable condition.

David Gilliland Racing confirm this morning via Twitter that the hauler of No. 17 ARCA team transporter was involved in a serious accident. The hauled was on its way to Arizona for Friday evening’s ARCA Menards Series event at Phoenix Raceway
“DGS and driver Taylor Gray’s participation in Friday’s event will be determined at a later time,” said the team, which was founded by retired NASCAR Cup Series driver David Gilliland.

Longview Fire Marshal Kevin May said crews responded to the crash scene. May said a call sheet indicated that at the time there was an 18-wheeler that was fully involved and that it contained race cars that were filled with fuel.
