Following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race At Las Vegas Motor Speedway, ThorSport Racing driver Christian Eckes’ saw a promising day took a sudden turn around completely within a few seconds.
This is due to Eckes, who was ahead in the race, got turned around by his former chief Kyle Busch with ten laps to go.
The 21-y-o, admitted in his post-race interview that he initially gave Kyle Busch the bottom line, and was pretty confident in his duel with Busch. however Eckes attempt to cut down from the top to the middle lane to block his ex boss’ advances meant his NO.98 truck caught NO. 51’s front.
Christian Eckes maintained a fairly objective stance about who was at fault for the wreck. Eckes went into details on how he thought he was clear and Busch “wrecked” him.
“I felt like I was clear there. I got called clear. I went down to block and he held his line and wrecked us. But it is what it is. I would have done the same thing if I was him,” Eckes said.
“It’s cool to be able to come back home and to have the notoriety, I guess, that we have now,” he said.

“One of these days, hopefully, there might be a road out there named after us, or a grandstand or something of that nature. (But maybe) don’t get too far ahead of yourselves, because that just means I’m getting closer to retirement if they start doing that.” Busch Said.

Eckes attempted to cut down the track to block a run by his ex boss, unfortunately Eckes was not fully clear and caught the front end of Busch’s No. 51 truck. Leading to the two driver making contact and Eckes spun hard into the inside wall.
