According to the Sports Business Journal,  NASCAR are currently in talks regarding racing on street circuit with the city of Chicago to get approval to race as early as the 2023 Cup Series season.

These discussion are not as simple as can be there’s lots of complications, talks could even potentially break down or reschedule until the following year 2024. One thing NASCAR does has in their favour is its history in the city of Chicago, courtesy of the Chicagoland Superspeedway. However Chicagoland has not hosted a race since 2019.

Considering the proportional positive feedback after the L.A. Coliseum, NASCAR is ready go ahead with the street race plan as the organization wishes to compete in more cities across the country.

NASCAR is behind on the street race front, in comparison with other motorsport. Formula 1 has  been racing on these tracks for years, and just recently IndyCar joined the train.

Uhm, define recent? Pretty sure IndyCar has been racing on the streets for decades. Stop trying to devalue Indycar. The seven time NASCAR champion is running for a top team in IndyCar at the back of the pack. Get your shit together and write an accurate article.
