Rookie Austin Cindric is the 2022 Daytona 500 champion after a thrilling overtime finish to the season opening race. For the fourth time since 2018, the Daytona 500 has ended in an overtime period.
Earlier in day before the race a Fox Orlando reporter approached a NASCAR fan in a Trump hat and asked him, “what are you going to sign on the finish line?”
“What do you think I’m going to sign,” the man replied. “I’m going to sign f*** Joe Biden!”
“Oh no no no! We’re not doing that. That’s the risk we have here when we broadcast live,” the reporter said.

Chanting “F*** Joe Biden” became popular at large sporting events last year, especially among NASCAR fans. With the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” when an NBC reporter told the camera that fans shouting “F*** Joe Biden” at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama were cheering on driver Brandon Brown.
