One week away from the 64th edition of the annual Daytona 500, The Great American Race will mark the official starting of the much anticipated 2022 NASCAR season.
The Historical 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway will feature the Next Gen NASCAR cars for the first time on Sunday evening, February 20, 2022, at 2.30 pm ET with 40 drivers competing.

Michael McDowell emerged as the surprise winner of the last season Daytona 500, escaping a big last-lap crash started by Brad Keselowski, making a move for the victory, and his Team Penske teammate and late leader Joey Logano.
Where can fans watch the Daytona 500 and at what time?
FOX Sports will have the full coverage of NASCAR action in Daytona, including practice, qualifying, and the Bluegreen Vacations Duels. Practice starts on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 5:05 p.m. ET, followed by the second practice at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday features Daytona 500 pole qualifying followed by Duels in Thursday and 2 days practice section’s before the All American Race in Sunday.
