The National Motorsports Final Appeals Officer on Thursday upheld the points portion of a Nov. 22 penalty to NASCAR Xfinity Series driver/owner Mike Harmon for violating vehicle testing rules.

Final Appeal Officer Roger Werner upheld 75-point penalty but rescinded fine/suspension based on 2022 rulebook wording that penalties can be applied on an “and/or” basis.

However the $50k fine for the team and six-race suspension for crew chief Ryan Bell were both rescinded.
