It has been a difficult time for Brad Keselowski as his father Bob Keselowski passed away recently.
The 2012 champion decided to go through his father’s belongings and found out a diary that was blank. Keselowski decided to make use of it. He made a first entry stating:
“This notebook was found in my dad’s belongings before he passed – unused. As a tribute to him, I’m using it for my notes for 2022.”

He followed up the entry with “2022 Season Goals” under which he listed the following:
- Win my 1st race @ RFK
- Win Daytona 500 or Michigan race
- Get both RFK cars in the playoffs
- Finish the playoffs in Top-5
- Make my dad proud
It was not the greatest season for Keselowski in 2021. He was only able to win one race throughout the season and finished sixth in the overall standings. But on the positive side, he showed that he has things to offer in NASCAR’s top tier.
He will be really pumped up to win races for his new team and get them in the playoffs. But whether he achieves any of the outlined goals or not, he already has made his dad proud.
