Former Roush Fenway Carl Edwards gave his opinion on Brad Keselowski and his move to his former team.

Keselowski decided to cut his ties with Team Penske to seek a new challenge with Roush Fenway Racing, now named Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, not only as a driver but also as a team owner.

Despite 2022 season approaching soon, Next Gen car remains a work in progress

Edward himself was a very good driver for the team, amassing 28 wins in total, and 23 of them for Roush Fenway Racing. With the 2012 Cup champion Keselowski on board, the team is expected to hit a higher gear in pursuit of glory. Edward believes that Keselowski fits the bill for that purpose.

“I think (Brad) is one of the toughest competitors in this sport. I think he’s got a focus and he’s got a competitive drive and a persistence. I’ve never seen anybody with more. I have a lot of respect for Brad. And when I heard that he was going to be a part of Roush Racing, to me, that’s exciting. I believe that he, combined with the Fenway group and Jack, that’s a match right there.”

As Keselowski has shown over the years, he can still compete at the highest level. The morale of the team will be very high with him and the experience he will bring to the team.
