Bubba Wallace registered the first Cup Series victory of his career in 2021 and he cannot stop watching it.
The 23XI Racing driver won the Cup Series race at the Talladega Superspeedway in the 2021 season after the race was cut short due to weather conditions. There was high pressure to register their first win for 23XI Racing in their first year in the Cup Series and Wallace managed to deliver it to them.
Alex Bowman brings up the “hack” comments made by Denny Hamlin and lessons learnt
As it is his first Cup win of his career, he will be remembering it for a long time. In fact, he has already watched the race 100 times.
“I’ve watched that race probably 100 times now. I’ll often think about it just what we were able to do as a team that day and the feeling going into it. I kind of had a preconceived notion that we were going to win. It was just something that obviously I tell myself, ‘Hey, we’re gonna win’ every weekend. But this one was a little bit different and a feeling that I haven’t had in a long time.”
While they got their win, the team overall struggled to keep up with the expectations they set for themselves before the season started. While a win is a win, it came as the race was cut short.
Nonetheless, it will give a big boost of confidence for the driver and the team to have registered their first win. Also, they have now signed a NASCAR veteran with loads of experience in Kurt Busch, which will also make the team better.
Why do we keep posting and bragging on win….rain shortened, top drivers pitted to give up the lead, enough smoke up his ass, he is an ass and a racists!!!!
