It is an exciting time ahead for Roush Fenway Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series with Brad Keselowski as their new driver/owner.

Having spent a decade with Team Penske and winning a Cup Series championship with them, Keselowski decided to part ways with them after the 2021 season for a new challenge with Roush Fenway Racing.

Team Penske’s loss is Roush Fenway Racing gain as Keselowski is a proven NASCAR driver with loads of experience to bring with him.  With that in light, there are already a couple of changes in RFR with Keselowski on board. While it might not be in the race tracks, it is in the office that Keselowski will call him home for years to come.

NASCAR legend hits back at a fan for disrespecting his legacy

Keselowski will be sponsored by Fastenal for the 2022 season. He will face a new challenge with the Next Gen car from the 2022 season. Many drivers have been critical of the car but Keselowski sees positive in it.

“The car is quite a bit slower than the older Cup cars but handles really bad, which I think is a good thing. I think we had fallen into a spot where the Cup cars were driving too well.”

“Now you’ve got to ‘man up’ to drive these cars. They’re not super-fast, but they’re very challenging to drive.”

It is a new beginning for Keselowski and he is expected to bring his experience and success to his new team. He decided to leave his comfort zone with Team Penske to seek new challenges. Hopefully, the combination will bring fruitful results for both parties.
