Kevin Harvick doesn’t want his rivalry with Chas Elliot to extend beyond this season and wants to have a conversation with the Hendrick Motorsports driver.

One of the biggest talking points of the 2021 season was the feud between Harvick and Elliott. They clashed a number of times on the pitch and off the pitch, they spoke badly about each other.

The rivalry got to the point that NASCAR had to intervene and threaten them with actions if the rivalry didn’t stop. Recently, in an appearance in Dale Earnhardt Jr’s podcast, Harvick said that he would like to have another conversation with Elliot before next season so that the whole feud is completely put to bed.

“I just got tired of the people. There needed to be a conversation and there needs to be another conversation before the start of the next season.”

After such a long career, Harvick had a feud or two in NASCAR. He remembered one of his feuds with Bobby Hamilton in Martinsville in 2001 and how it turned out in the end.

“It was really just, you can’t do stuff this way, you gotta really think about what you’re doing.”

“From that point on, we were always good friends,” he added.

Let’s hope that the 2022 season will not bring any bitter feud between the two drivers.
