While the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series might have concluded just recently, Chase Elliott is looking to participate in a couple of racing events during the break.

One of the races that he will be participating is in the USAC National Midget Championship Hangtown 100 at Placerville (Calif.) Speedway on November 18-20.

Elliott will participate in the event with a Kyle Larson Racing-owned entry at Placerville.

“It’s truly an exciting thing for everyone involved to have Chase Elliott compete at the Hangtown 100,” track promoter Scott Russell said in a statement. “We are thrilled that Chase has decided to run the event along with his teammate Kyle Larson.

“Having the last two NASCAR Cup Series champions in action at the Hangtown 100 is unprecedented. We hope everyone has their tickets and will come enjoy three nights of spectacular USAC National Midget racing with us.”

The total prize of the race is set for $150,000 plus contingencies. However, this is not the only event Elliott along with Larson will be participating in. They can be seen racing again at Merced (Calif.) Speedway on November 23-24.

Since his 2020 Cup championship win, Elliott has been consistently participating in other racing events than NASCAR during time off from Cup Series. He raced in multiple dirt tracks, plus the Chili Bowl Nationals and also participated in the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway.
