Fresh off his Cup Series heroics, Kyle Larson expresses a desire to try out a new discipline in the racing industry.
The Hendrick Motorsports No.5 driver capped off his excellent season with the 10th win of the season by winning the 2021 Cup Series championship.
It's been the year of Kyle Larson in every way.
10 Cup Series race wins. All-Star Race. Chili Bowl. Knoxville Nationals. Kings Royal.
And to cap it all, he's now the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion.

Surely, it has been Larson’s year. Just more than a year and a half, his NASCAR career was in trouble and now he is holding the most prestigious Cup that this sport has.

Having already been famous for his dirt racing, Larson would love to give it a try in another racing discipline in F1. For now the 2021 Cup Series champion wants to do a test drive and maybe even compete in an event in the future.
“I don’t follow F1 that much, but it’d be cool to test one, to see what that’s like,” Larson said in a podcast of The Athletic.
“I’d love to experience the speed and grip and all that, who knows, sometime down the road compete in an event.”
The HMS driver is planning to visit Abu Dhabi during the Grand Prix weekend in December.
F1 and NASCAR has seen a couple of crossovers in the past, including Mario Andretti, Jacques Villeneuve, Juan Pablo Montoya, Kimi Raikkonen among others.
