NASCAR announced on Monday evening that Joe Gibbs Racing driver Kyle Busch will be required to complete sensitivity training before the start of the 2022 season as a result of language used during a postrace interview that is in violation of NASCAR’s conduct guidelines.

Busch uttered the R-word during a during a post-race interview Sunday at Martinsville Speedway to a reporter’s question about an incident with Brad Keselowski.

The sanctioning body released the following statement on the matter Monday, saying: “Kyle Busch will be required to complete sensitivity training before the start of the 2022 season as a result of the language used during a post-race interview that is in violation of NASCAR’s conduct guidelines.”

  1. Come on nascar. Leave him alone. Im not even a fan of his but he is a breath of fresh air. I would be willing to bet a million dollars (if i had it) that nascar wouldn’t think about doing that to Dale Earnhardt if he were alive.
