Next NASCAR Next Gen Car test will include NASCAR legends

After having a number of NASCAR Next Gen Car tests, NASCAR will look for the sports legends input to improve the car.

NASCAR is going to mark the start of the 2022 season with the long-awaited debut of the NASCAR Next Gen car that will include multiple chances from the current setup.

NASCAR has already conducted a number of tests to check the status of the car before its debut and has been met with mixed reviews. In their bid to make the car race-ready for the next season, NASCAR will be turning to some opinions from the legend of the sports, Hall of Famers Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr. and also Fox TV analyst Clint Bowyer.

They are expected to participate in the Next Gen car test on Tuesday at Bowman Gray Stadium, a quarter-mile short track in Winstom-Salem, North Carolina. The track previously hosted 29 Cup Series races from 1958 to 1971.

The test is a part of series of NASCAR test to make the car ready to race for the the 2022 preseason non-points Clash, which will be held Feb. 6 at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Further test to come in the future include a tire test at Wythe Raceway and two-day test on the Charlotte oval layout for November 17-18.
