On lap 55, Stewart-Haas Racing Kevin Harvick appeared to just drive through the rear of HMS Chase Elliott’s No. 9 car, sending him hard into the outside wall, while exiting the infield portion of the race track to continue the ongoing feud between the two drivers .
Harvick, has not forgotten Chase Elliott holding him up in the final laps of the Bristol Motor Speedway night race, costing him his first victory of the 2021 season.
Alan Gustafson the crew chief for the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports team of Chase Elliott radio his driver to try and wreck Kevin Harvick to lock his spot in the next round.

Kevin Harvick was headed to his first victory of the season, his last win was Bristol a year ago, but a furious Elliott returned to the track after a tire change and deliberately slowed down in front of Harvick in an attempt to ruin Kevin race.
