Alex Bowman again didn’t have a good racing weekend.
Alex Bowman is definitely out of luck in this year’s playoffs. The previous weekend we could not enjoy all the charms that the trail at Talladega brings. Due to bad weather, we watched the race only on Monday. Not even on Monday could we watch the whole race in which Bubba Wallace eventually won. He lost a wheel in the previous race in Las Vegas. At Talladega had another incident. After the first stage, he held the tenth position. In the second stage in the 99th lap, an incident took place in which an enviable number of drivers took part. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. hit Bowman’s car from behind, after which a real car crash occurred on the track. As many as nine cars took part in this crash.
Alex must win at Charlotte
“Just dumped over on the left rear and turned us around really bad,” Bowman told NBC Sports after the wreck. “We had a fast car; we were leading there. That’s just superspeedway racing and the box that we’re put in by these racetracks. You’ll have that. Bummed to have torn up racecar, but we’ll move on and try to go win the ROVAL.” “We were pretty buried anyway and everyone is going to run pretty good,” Bowman added.
His teammates from Hendrick Motorsports, Kyle Larson, and William Byron also didn’t have a good day. This weekend we will be watching the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL. Bowman is far behind the drivers in the top 8. He must win at Charlotte to advance to the next round of the playoffs. In the previous three races on the mentioned track, he recorded excellent placements. This time, it will not be enough for him to finish among the top 5, but he will have to win. If he does not achieve a triumph, we will not watch him again this season.
Hey @CharlotteFC, welcome to the Queen City! 🤘🏼

“So, it was a must run really well situation anyways. It doesn’t really change much. We know we’re going to need to win. We’ll go do our best to make that happen.”
