Urban Youth Racing School founder Anthony Martin did have critics who said he should no longer associate with Kyle Larson following his racial slur controversy in 2020.
Larson was suspended from NASCAR last April for having used a racial slur in an iRacing event. He was restored before the beginning of the 2021 Cup Series season and Hendrick Motorsports signed him for the No. 5 car.
The former Chip Ganassi Racing driver Kyle Larson won five races, including the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the spring, en route to capturing NASCAR’s regular-season championship and assuming the favorite’s role in the 10-race, four-round playoffs.
Anthony Martin admitted to Fox NASCAR reporter Bob Pockrass that he did got criticism from his famous celebrity friends however, he refused to mention their names.
“I did last year to be honest with you some celebrity friends of mine i don’t wanna mention their names that actually sent me emails and texts and thing like that”

Kyle Larson could line up for Sunday’s race at the Valley of Fire exit on Interstate 15 North and still be the man to beat.
