Playoff contender Kurt Busch was sidelined early in Saturday night Federated Auto Parts 400 Salute to First Responders Cup Series race at Richmond Raceway after a sudden wreck HARD into Turn 1.
Busch went into the weekend Cup Series Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond Raceway fourth in the Playoff Standings, however he will not be fourth at the end of the night as his race is done after just 40 laps.
Kurt Busch is done for the night.

Kurt Busch will finish last in the 37-car field, having completed just 40 of the 400 laps. One race remains in the opening Round of 16 in the Cup Series postseason — Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway, where Busch has won six times.
