Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell are not in good terms after their contact in NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International.

The two cars made contact when Larson tried to make a pass for second place on Bell. However, this move sent Bell’s No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota off the race surface.

Now, with both drivers are heading into the NASCAR Playoffs and matters still might boil to the surface…

“It was definitely my fault” – Kyle Larson admits to costing Christopher Bell his chance to win

“It’s been a long time since that, I don’t even know why we’re still talking about it,” Kyle Larson said during media day for the NASCAR Playoffs.

Larson added, “But yeah, I’m looking forward to the playoffs and I know he is, too. He’s got a great car; I’ve got a great car. It’s both of ours’ best opportunities to go chase a championship.”

When asked if he intend to show aggression towards Kyle Larson in the coming races Bell replied.

“I mean, we haven’t communicated,” Bell stated this week during NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs Media Day. “I guess that’s that.”

Bell explained, “I mean, I don’t know. The opportunity hasn’t presented itself yet,” Bell said. “We haven’t raced around each other yet. So, I don’t know.”
