In his contract year with Chip Ganassi Racing, Kurt Busch will have to find a new ride for him for the 2022 Cup Series season.

Busch could also have opportunities in the team 23XI Racing, which is a one-car team for now, with Bubba Wallace as their driver. But with the ambition to expand and the intention to sign a veteran driver, Busch might have a new home there.
At the age of 41, Busch might even ponder retiring from full-time Cup racing after the 2021 season. But having won a Cup series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway this season, it shows that the veteran still has things to offer for his new team.
