With Kyle Larson’s win atthe Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports broke a long-standing Richard Petty Enterprises’ record.
Richard Petty Enterprises’ record was always for HMS to break. Just three races ago, HMS were chasing Richard Petty Enterprises’ record of most wins in the Cup history which stands at 268. But three consecutive wins from HMS drivers have now broken the record.
Alex Bowman win at Dover International Speedway brought HMS one win away from the record. Then, Chase Elliott brought HMS level to the record with his NASCAR Cup Series Race at the Circuit of the Americas.
