Team Penske driver Brad Keselowski spoke about the rumors linking him to the owner/driver position in Roush Fenway Racing for the 2022 season.
The 2012 champion is in his contract year at Team Penske. Earlier this month, multiple sources stated that Keselowski could be in line to be the driver of No. 6 Ford at Roush Fenway Racing, which would also include some ownership of the team.

When asked about the news, Keselowski was not in the mood to shed light on the rumors. He said:
“I can’t talk about that, my friend, but I appreciate you asking. When I can, I’ll tell you. It’s not difficult for me, I think I’m in a spot where I’m just head down, finished second last year in points and won four races and looking for one more spot.
“My team is pretty tough. They’ve got a really good mental toughness and they’re in a good spot.”
The 37-year-old driver is still in a good phase of his career and finished last season second in points and won four races. This season, he already has one win to his name and has booked himself a playoff spot.
Last season too, Keselowski started the season in his contract year with Team Penske and only renewed his contract in August last year. It remains to be seen how things will build up in the coming months.
