Former Xfinity Series champion Jeff Green officially announced his retirement from NASCAR via tweet which got the NASCAR community sending joyful farewells.
The 58-y-o competed in over 8oo NASCAR races across the top three NASCAR national touring series, victorious in 16 Xfinity Series events. From 1999 and 2001, Green never finished lower than second in Xfinity points.

Green mainly became a start-and-park driver for the past ten years, first with TriStar Motorsports, then with RSS Racing.
