After his second victory at Dover International Speedway, Alex Bowman joined Martin Truex Jr. as the only driver with multiple wins this season.
It was a special race for not just Bowman but for the team too. The four drivers finished 1-2-3-4 in the race, the first time such a feat happened at Hendrick Motorsports.
A historical moment!

Not just that, Bowman’s victory was HMS’s 267th win in the Series, taking them just one behind Petty Enterprise’s long-standing record of 268 wins.
The team has won four out of 13 races so far this season and will have plenty of opportunities to break that record.
During the post-race interview, Bowman noticed that his car had a small fire under it. So he had some jokes up his sleeve. He said:
“We’re under a lot of fire over here. I don’t know, somebody’s got to come put that out. I might want to keep it.
“So appreciative to have you guys [the fans] out here. Best racetrack on the schedule, in my opinion, wish we still came here twice.
“Help me, Tom Cruise, I’m on fire!. That’s a big fire, I’m kind of worried.”
Bowman sits 13th on the series standings with two wins and three top-5 standings. HMS teammate William Byron is in second place, Larson in fifth and Chase Elliott is in seventh.
