Netflix is set to produce a documentary series on NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace’s s first season with the 23XI Racing team.
Wallace joined the new team co-owned by NBA icon Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin after leaving Richard Petty Motorsports at the end of the 2020 Cup Series season.

Wallace came to the limelight last season after he came out as a leading voice against racial injustice in the country and the sports. He was also leading the charge to ban the confederate flag from NASCAR which was successfully undertaken.

While Wallace activism drew some angry reception from the fans and even the ormer President Donald Trump, his work was applauded by people belonging to NASCAR and other industries alike.
And now, Wallace has a new admirer in Netflix, who will be producing a series detailing his 2021 season.

However, this is not the first Netflix series on motorsports. Their series ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ is already in its third season.
