Kyle Larson felt that he could have won the Cup Series race at Daytona Road Course if he was not greedy.
Larson has not exploded in his comeback Cup Series career with HMS but he hasn’t been bad either. He has a respectable two top-10 finishes in the three races so far in the 2021 season. And the only disappointing result for the No. 5 HMS driver was at Daytona Road course where he finished 30th.

Speaking about the road course, Larson pointed out what he needs to do to improve on it and get his first Cup victory this season. He told SiriusXM NASCAR Radio:
“I feel like our second race together as a team at the road course, we were in a position to win. I got a little too greedy in one lap, and I think if I don’t do that, I can win. So, I think the pieces are there. William Byron obviously showed this weekend that we have speed.”

Larson is confident that wins will come this season and that it will start flowing once he opens his account.
Up next for Larson is the race at Las Vegas where the No. 5 driver boasts a commendable record of top-five finishes on at least five occasions.
