There is a possibility of three new additions in the entry list, which has 44 cars, of the 2021 Daytona 500.
The 2021 NASCAR season opener is approaching soon with 44 cars currently on the entry list. However, there are only 40 spots available for the race and 36 cars are guaranteed one of those spots.
So, if there are three new entries, 11 cars will have to fight for the four spots available for one of the most prestigious races in a NASCAR Cup Series season.

NY Racing Team (No. 44 Chevrolet)
NY Racing Team have stated their plans to run the entire 36-race 2021 season without a charter. However, they haven’t announced their plans or drivers for the upcoming season.
The Money Team Racing (No. 50 Chevrolet)
The Money Team Racing have been looking to make their way into the Cup Series for over a year. They could serve as a non-chartered entry for Daytona 500.
Tommy Baldwin Racing (No. 71 Chevrolet)
While Tommy Baldwin Racing have made it clear that they want to compete in the Daytona 500, which they haven’t done since 2017, they are yet to disclose any deal or potential driver to that effect.
