“We’ve seen a road course race before, but we haven’t seen a Cup race on dirt. Especially a dirt race that’s that long. I felt like Eldora was a shorter event and a little different, so I’m just curious how the logistics are going to work.”
Elliott said that he expects NASCAR to not installing windshields or fenders on the dirt cars. The weather will also play a major part in how the race will turn out to be.
